Sharon Lewis speaks at Connecticut CoP’s second annual event

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Sharon Lewis, Principal Deputy Administrator at the Administration of Community Living (ACL) recently presented to Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and its partners including consumers, family members and private providers at the Connecticut team’s second annual gathering. Sharon Lewis was the featured speaker at the event.

Connecticut is one of six states in the country participating in our five-year Community of Practice which examines the process of improving supports to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families across the lifecourse.   The project is administered in Connecticut through a partnership between DDS and the CT Council on Developmental Disabilities.
